A meeting in the heights: The Highline Festival in Cirat
From April 27 to May 5, the quiet municipality of Cirat, in the interior of Castellón and only 9 kilometers from Montanejos, will be transformed into the epicenter of extreme sports and connection with nature. This is the third time that this enclave will welcome young people from all over the world who are passionate about highlining, a form of slacklining that takes the search for balance to new heights, literally.
What is highlining?
Highlining is a discipline that combines adrenaline with precision. Similar to slacklining, in which you walk on a tightrope, highlining takes this experience to the extreme by being performed many meters above the ground, suspended in impressive natural environments. It is like tightrope walking, but enabled in outdoor landscapes hundreds of meters high.
The spirit of the Cirat Highline Festival
The festival is not only a sporting event, but also a tribute to nature and a meeting point for adventure lovers. This festival promotes values such as respect for the environment, collaboration and cultural exchange.
Participants will find a camping area integrated into the natural environment of Cirat, workshops to perfect their technique, and complementary activities such as yoga and other experiences designed to strengthen the body and mind. In addition, sessions will be scheduled to learn and share tricks, making the festival a platform for learning and connection.
