Living in the privileged natural environment of the Alto Mijares valley, in Montanejos, has allowed us to become aware of the importance of caring for our environment. As well as transmitting to our visitors, the need to take care of the natural spaces that surround us and be consistent with energy consumption, during their stay in the Campuebla apartments.
It is increasingly evident the high costs involved in the use of non-renewable energy, in climate change and the need to use clean energy.
For all these reasons, at Campuebla Apartments in Montanejos (Castellón – Valencian Community), we wanted to contribute our tiny grain of sand, and invest in the installation of new solar panels, to mitigate the use of electricity and diesel.
On April 15, 2016, the execution of the Solar Installation that supports the DHW production system for our building of 19 apartments located in Montanejos (Castellón – Valencian Community) was completed.
The annual energy saving is estimated at about 14,575 kWh, which translates into the following environmental benefits:
| CO2 emission savings (1): | 7,433.25 Kg CO2/year |
| CO2 emission savings in 25 years: | 185,831.25 Kg CO2 |
| Reduction of emissions in equivalent km of new vehicles (CO2 avoided in 25 years) (2): | 1,551.06 Thousands of km |
| No. of equivalent trees planted (3): | 3,378.85 trees |
| Equivalent forest area: | 0.80 Hectares |
