What is the Alto Mijares BTT Center?
NOTE: BTT stands for Bicicleta Todo Terreno, which is synonymous with MTB, which means Mountain Bike.
The Alto Mijares BTT Center, integrated into the Campuebla Apartamentos & Spa complex (Montanejos, Castellón), is part of the official network of BTT Centers of the Valencian Community. It is a freely accessible space designed for lovers of mountain biking (BTT/MTB), which allows you to practice cycle tourism in a privileged natural environment with all the necessary amenities.
It has a network of perfectly marked routes and a series of equipment and support services complementary to the use of the bicycle.
Whatever your level, the Alto Mijares BTT Center will allow you to enjoy touring the most beautiful landscapes of the region, circulating with safety and tranquility.
What is a BTT Center?
BTT Centers are areas prepared for the safe and autonomous practice of mountain biking. They offer marked routes, specific equipment, reception points and tourist information, all under a quality standard supervised by the Valencian Tourist Administration.
BTT Center in Campuebla Apartamentos & Spa
In Campuebla Apartamentos & Spa is the new Alto Mijares BTT Center. This service offers visitors the possibility of practicing cycle tourism in an enviable enclave for its natural resources.
The center’s facilities are located within the Campuebla Apartamentos tourist complex, which also offers a high-quality service in the rental of fully equipped tourist apartments.
BTT Routes
The center has 8 marked routes, of different levels and distances, totaling 266 km that invite visitors to discover our landscape and cultural values at the leisurely pace allowed by mountain biking.
Departure points and signage

Most of the itineraries are circular and start at the reception point.

The routes are marked, interconnected and can be done individually or as large crossings.

All routes have a complete system of signage and marking along the route, especially at intersection points.

The indicative service and directional signs are located on specific posts or natural or urban supports.

There are also information points in different establishments and places in the region.

Finally, being located in Campuebla Apartamentos & Spa, adds the possibility of enjoying fully equipped tourist accommodation and all its services.
These services (washing, showers, self-repair shop and parking) are free for guests staying at Campuebla Apartamentos & Spa.
BTT bike rental
We have Specialized Rockhopper 29” mountain bikes, in sizes S, M and L, to enjoy safely on the forest tracks of the region.
Bike rental includes: helmet, bag, route map, spare tube, inflator, set of keys, padlock and water bottle.
It is possible to rent for several days, but the bicycle must be returned at night and picked up in the morning.

Collection is at the offices of Campuebla Apartamentos & Spa, where the Alto Mijares BTT Center is located.
